These pups will be great companions and have a tremendous hunting and retrieving drive–strong candidates for trialing and testing.  You will wear out before they will.  Luke is a Master Hunter (MH) through AKC hunt tests and is Qualified All Age (***) for field trials.  Kota is a DIRECT DAUGHTER of the incomparable Ebonstar Lean Mac.  They will be guaranteed for hips/elbows & eyes, and against EIC and CNM afflictions.  See Guarantee.

SIRE: Luke (BLACKTAILS BELIEVE IN ME MH ***).  I love this dog.  I had the priviledge of having Luke at my house for three weeks.  What an amazing boy!  He is 72 pounds with classic blocky Lab looks–a good build.  He is a strong water dog with excellent marking ability.  He lives to retrieve and will go as long as you can, wanting still more.  Luke is very sweet, especially around my toddler, is an all-around family dog becoming fast buddies with my 9- and 12-year old boys, quiet, honest, and is easy to train.  Luke passed every hunt test he entered, going 4 for 4 for his JH, passed 2 seniors before moving to Master and passed 6 straight masters for his MASTER HUNTER title.  He ran 10 derbies and earned 8 points, 2 RJ’s and lots of Jams.  He ran a handful of Qualifyings before finishing with several JAMs, a 1st and a 2nd.  Luke has good hips, normal elbows, CERF & EIC clear.  He is black with hidden yellow factoring (Ee).

DAM: Kota (EBONSTAR LAKOTA SIOUX) is an exciting retriever and a wonderful dog to have around.  She is extremely nice in the house and turns it on in the field.  She has an amazing drive and is so fun to watch.  Her sire is the incomparable 2xNAFC/2xCNAFC/FC Ebonstar Lean Mac (MAXX), the most prepotent sire in Labrador retriever history with more titled offspring than any other.  I’ve only had the privIledge of seeing Maxx work on video.  Knowing Kota makes it clear why he and his offspring achieved so much in field trials.  Kota’s grandsires are a CNFC/CNAFC, and FC/AFC and her granddams were both QAA.  Kota is the kind of dog that just puts a smile on your face.  She is black, weighs 70 pounds, is tall, and has good hips, normal elbows, CNM clear.  Kota is black with no hidden color factoring (BB/EE).

Puppies have received Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS, pre-stressing, Bio-Sensor, Super Dog), have had dewclaws removed, have received 3 dewormings and first  vaccinations, and have been very well socialized by children and adults.  The pups have been exposed to water and are fed in a different area of the yard across varied terrain and obstacles at every feeding.  This is done to expose them to many different situations.  If temperatures cooperate I am willing to arrange airline shipping.  I have shipped dogs to both coasts in the U.S., and am willing to explore possible shipping outside the U.S.  See How Do I …? page for more details.
